New Home Sweet Home
I remember so well the day nearly 25 years ago that our family moved from Virginia to our new home here in Arkansas. We've lived at the same address all this time, not counting the months we were forced to stay elsewhere while our home was being replaced following a house fire that destroyed the original structure.
The first time I said I never wanted to move again. The second time I said that I hope we can live in this new house forever. I still hope that we can.
Moving is hard work. Clutter must go. Boxes must be packed and labeled. Changes of address must be sent out. It's time consuming and, really, not a whole lot of fun. Of course once the job's done, it's great to see the result.
Same goes with moving a blog.
I started writing Life from the Inside Out back in January 2014. It's been a fine almost-two years, but I've decided to declutter, pack up, and move the blog to a different location, here on Blogger.
And I thought moving our physical belongings was hard work!
It's going to take time to transfer articles, re-load and tag pictures, tag and re-publish posts, update links, and build a new set of archives. Likely there's more than that to be done, things I'll learn along the way.
Hopefully, very soon everything will be unpacked and in its proper place and we'll be able to call the new site "home sweet home" for a very long time to come.
December 3, 2015 UPDATE: Looks like we're pretty well moved over to the new site (the one with the dandelion at the top). Previous links that were pinned or published elsewhere, links that don't work, may exist so I apologize for those. Going forward, though, we should be good to go. I don't want to have to move ever again!
